Grace Y. Lau, CFA, founded Pacwest in 1997 in response to a proliferation of mergers and acquisitions in the banking industry. Grace established the firm so that clients could experience a more stable advisory relationship with consistent levels of quality service, expert advice, and direct communication with professionals. Grace envisioned a company that would be able to do the right thing for each client every day.
More than a decade later, Grace continues to lead her firm by this vision. Pacwest has grown steadily adding professional talent to create a strong investment management and financial planning platform that serves individuals, families, business owners, endowments, foundations, pension plans, and other entities.
Grace Lau is a native of Hong Kong. She received all of her post secondary education in the United States. Grace comes from a family that values education and a strong work ethic. On limited financial resources, her parents managed to send all their children to America to further their higher education. Today, her family enjoys the success they have earned through education and hard work. Grace personally feels very grateful toward America for making these opportunities available to her.
