Their vision is simple: to create a firm that will always place the best interests of their clients first and will provide sound financial management for each client. Their purpose is to preserve and enhance every client's wealth while providing peace of mind and financial security, now and for future generations. As a wealth manager, PacWest is fee-based and performs financial planning and active asset management for clients. Accounts are managed on an individual basis and fees are charged based on assets under management. PacWest does not earn commissions and does not have internal products to sell, thus eliminating the conflict of interest that exists with commission-based compensation. The majority of PacWest's clients are individuals focusing on wealth preservation as well as wealth enhancement. The firm also manages assets for trust accounts and institutions including banks, endowments, pensions and foundations. Investment advice is provided on major asset classes including domestic and international stocks, corporate bonds, municipal securities, government securities, commercial paper, certificates of deposit and mutual funds. The firm's investment strategy is to invest in quality securities for the long term. To accomplish this, PacWest uses an active management style, utilizing various resources to perform fundamental and quantitative analysis on individual securities to produce a buy list of quality stocks. To be able to manage assets effectively, it is also important for PacWest to understand their clients' financial picture as fully as possible. This allows them to work with their clients to provide tax minimization strategies, estate and retirement planning, and asset protection. Account holdings are reviewed through monitoring of developments in the security markets and individual companies, as well as daily monitoring of news and security prices. Portfolios are rebalanced periodically based on changes in the investment climate and client needs. In addition to a monthly statement from the custodian, clients receive quarterly PacWest statements that include cost basis for tax reporting purposes, current holdings, current price, total market value, unrealized gain or loss, current yield and annual income. PacWest does not take custody of client's assets. All securities are held at outside custodians, providing additional security for our clients' assets. Clients have direct access to their accounts through their custodian. PacWest is a Registered Investment Advisor regulated by
the Securities and Exchange Commission. PacWest complies
with all rules and guidelines established by the SEC.
